Malayalam romantic drama film Hridaypoorvam released in theaters on 28 August 2025. This 151-minute long film is made in Malayalam language and is presented keeping in mind the family audience. The film is directed by Sathyan Anthikad.

Hridaypoorvam Plot

The story is about Sandeep Balakrishnan, a heart transplant patient who is struggling to live life again. He meets Haritha, who brings new hope to his emotions and life. Sandeep’s past, family relationships and secrets related to Haritha’s life make this relationship even more complicated.

Hridaypoorvam Production and technical team

The film is directed by Sathyan Anthikad, who brought it to life along with screenwriter Sonu T.P. and story writer Akhil Sathyan. Producer Antony Perumbavoor has produced it under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. Camera work is handled by Anu Moothedath and editing is done by K. Rajagopal. The screenplay has a balance of humour and emotions, while the film is also special as it marks the 18th collaboration of Mohanlal and Anthikad.

The film was shot extensively in cities like Pune and Kochi, using elaborate locations and sync-sound technology. Hridaypoorvam Music

The music of the film is composed by Justin Prabhakaran. The lyrics are written by Manu Manjith and Raj Shekhar. The soundtrack includes songs like “Venmathi”, “Hridayavathil”, “Vida Parayaam” and “Tuk Tuk Tuk Tu”. Especially “Venmathi” (sung by Sid Sriram) has gained popularity among the youth.
