Mardaani 3 announces the return of one of Hindi cinema’s most powerful female police characters. Rani Mukerji once again steps back onto the big screen as Shivani Shivaji Roy. The film is directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. This highly anticipated film is set to release in cinemas on January 30, 2026. Notably, the release coincides with Rani Mukerji completing 30 years in the film industry, making the occasion even more special.

According to the makers, Mardaani 3 is the darkest, deadliest, and most brutal chapter of the franchise so far. The story unfolds as a fast-paced race against time, where Shivani Shivaji Roy investigates the sudden disappearance of young girls and comes face to face with a highly organized and dangerous human trafficking racket. This time, there is no room for mercy—it is a battle where every moment determines the line between life and death.

Alongside Rani Mukerji, the film features Mallika Prasad Sinha as the main antagonist, playing a ruthless and terrifying trafficker known as ‘Amma’. Janki Bodiwala appears in a significant role, while Mikhail Yawalkar strengthens the narrative as Inspector Balwinder Singh Sodhi.
