Pushpa 2: The Rule is a Telugu-language Indian film released in theaters on December 5, 2024. Directed by Sukumar, the movie is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles. Supporting roles were brilliantly performed by Jagapathi Babu, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay. This film is the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021).
Pushpa 2 Sets New Records
Pushpa 2: The Rule made history in Indian cinema. It grossed ₹280 crore worldwide on its first day. It achieved the highest-grossing opening day in India. The film earned ₹200 crore from the domestic market. It collected ₹72 crore net from the Hindi version.
The film crossed ₹400 crore on its second day. It reached ₹500 crore on its third day. This achievement makes it one of the fastest-earning films in India. According to Pinkvilla, the movie achieved a global gross of ₹1,004 crore within the first eight days. It earned ₹813 crore from the domestic market and ₹191 crore from international markets.
In Nepal, the film grossed ₹27.03 crore domestically, making it the highest-grossing foreign film in the country. By the eleventh day, the film reached ₹1,008.50 crore, becoming the second highest-grossing film in Indian cinema.
