Sant Tukaram, which is going to be released on 18 July 2025, is a 2 hour 15 minutes long Hindi language biographical, devotional and drama genre film which has received a ‘U’ certificate. This film is directed and written by Aditya Om and produced by Mohammad Sheikh.
Sant Tukaram Plot
This film attempts to capture the soul of the life of 17th century saint and poet Tukaram Maharaj. His poems, devotion and social consciousness shook the public in an era when inequality in the name of religion and caste was at its peak. His spiritual awakening, Vithoba devotion, social struggle and family life have been shown in great depth in the film.

Sant Tukaram Production and Technical Team
The film’s cinematography is done by Madhusudan Kota, whose camera vision emotionally highlights the life of the saint settled in the soil, rivers and temples of Maharashtra. The responsibility of editing is handled by Prakash Jha, who gives flow and depth to the film. The production design is done by Sumit Mishra, whose work brings alive the atmosphere of villages, saints’ gatherings and courts. Costume designer Yusuf Sheikh has communicated the simplicity of Sant Tukaram’s era through the costumes.
Sound recording is done by Al Arjun, while Pooja Singh is working as a Foley artist. The VFX supervision is done by Shubham Bhagwat (Pixelfarm VFX Studio), who makes the Vithoba darshan, divine feelings and miraculous moments impressive.
