Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank is an Indian Hindi-language horror-comedy film and the sequel to Stree (2018). It is the fourth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. The story is set in the village of Chanderi, where a headless demonic spirit, ‘Sarkata,’ is abducting women. The film follows the same group of friends as they reunite to face this new threat. The screenplay was written by Niren Bhatt, and the film was directed by Amar Kaushik. The music for the film was composed by Sachin-Jigar (songs) and Justin Varghese (background score).

Production
Following the massive success of Stree in 2018, director Amar Kaushik expressed interest in a sequel. The screenplay for the film was written by Niren Bhatt, and it was jointly produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
