Vadh 2, released in cinemas on 6 February 2026, is a Hindi crime-drama film with a runtime of 131 minutes. Serving as a sequel to the 2022 film Vadh, this installment is written and directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu and produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg under the banner of Luv Films. The film’s principal photography was completed in April 2025. it continued the grounded, realistic storytelling approach that defined the first part.

Before its theatrical release, Vadh 2 had its world premiere on 23 November 2025 at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Goa, where it was showcased as a gala premiere, drawing attention for its mature theme and restrained narrative style.

Vadh 2 Plot

Much like the first film, Vadh 2 believes in telling a quiet yet deeply impactful story, steering clear of excessive noise or melodrama. The narrative revolves around characters burdened by age, circumstances, and suppressed anger—individuals who make life-altering decisions whose consequences extend beyond their own lives and ripple through society. Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta return as Shambhunath and Manju Mishra. anchoring the film with performances marked by experience, restraint, and emotional depth, giving the story a strong and believable foundation.

Rawat, ensuring a tight and focused pace. The songs are composed by Rochak Kohli, while the background score is crafted by Advait Nemlekar, subtly enhancing the film’s emotional undercurrents. Distribution duties are managed by Pen Marudhar in India, with Yash Raj Films overseeing the international release.
