Gujarati cinema continues to strengthen its tradition of content-driven films with Paatki, which is scheduled to release in UAE theatres on January 29, 2026. Directed by Abhinay Deshmukh, the film presents a unique blend of drama, comedy, and psychological thriller. With a runtime of 2 hours and 1 minute, the story centers on the mental state of a man who is convinced of his own guilt, while the rest of the world firmly believes in his innocence.
Apart from Abhinay Deshmukh, the film’s writing team includes Aalap Kikani (additional Gujarati dialogues), Jatan Pandya (additional Gujarati dialogues), and Anuraag Vyas (co-writer).

The official budget of the film has not been announced yet. However, industry estimates suggest that the production cost is likely to be in the range of ₹3–4 crore.


Paatki Plot

Paatki tells the story of a man who is absolutely certain about his own crime, even as the entire world around him believes he is innocent. This contradiction gradually turns into an intense psychological battle, where the revelation of truth threatens to shatter not only his life but also the lives of those around him.
