Alongside the film’s growing popularity, reports recently claimed that the makers of the franchise were so impressed with Bedi’s performance that they rewarded him with an additional bonus of ₹1 crore apart from his original fee. The rumours quickly spread online and became a hot topic among fans.
When asked about these reports during a conversation with Mashable India, the actor chose humor over seriousness. The host jokingly suggested that the viral “Baccha tu mera” trend itself could help make the rumoured amount real. He pointed out that several brands had already used the dialogue in marketing creatives and memes, saying that if each brand paid even ₹1 lakh, the total would reach ₹1 crore.
