The story centers on Vicky, a highly intelligent yet hot-tempered student. He garners widespread attention when he publicly accuses his professor, Gopal Nadkarni, of blatant bias. The catalyst for this accusation is the sudden rejection of his thesis on the RSS.

What initially began as a matter confined solely to the college campus is blown out of proportion by a news anchor and a political activist, who transform it into a televised “intellectual trial” watched by a massive audience.

As the debate unfolds, it evolves into a psychological battle. Vicky does not merely engage in argumentation; he actively seeks to identify the professor’s vulnerabilities, challenging him on contentious issues such as the assassination of Gandhi and the Emergency.
